MARYJANESFARM

MaryJanesFarm ,......her new magazine is on bookshelves now ...I received my copy a few days ago. I've been spending every extra moment flipping through each and every page of this issue. This holiday issue is just full of wonderful holiday ideas, as well as other wonderful 'earth-friendly' articles.
*****
I love Mary Jane Butters ...I have her books, I subscribe to her magazine. Her website is here
and ...there is even a 'Farm Girl' blog ....here

*****
One day it's my dream to travel to Moscow, Idaho to visit her farm. And, perhaps that will happen sooner than I expected because ...

There's going to be a 'Farm Girl' Fair and I want to go! The fair is July 3 - 5, 2009. So as the article states ....'Tune up your buggies and prepare to barter up and down the Palouse, stopping long enough to boogie to big band music at MaryJane's Historic Flour Mill in Oakesdale, Washington. You'll take in breathtaking countryside and quaint communities along the designated route, which starts and ends in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho - home to a crystal blue lake with white-sand beaches and the new 'MaryJanesFarm Store'.
*****
I haven't looked at the actual touring route which is a whooping 184 miles. But, believe you me ...when I get the chance I'm getting the map out and work my way towards Moscow, Idaho.
*****
I've already informed hubby dear that this is a trip I definetly want to make this coming year! I'm going to beg, borrow and steal in order to make it happen.

Wish me good luck!

As for other blissful articles in this issue of MaryJanesFarm magazine, here are a few pics to entice you a little. I hope you enjoy!

There's an article on making 'Truffle Mold Ornaments'.

In addition ...there is this lovely 'holiday' apron.

The magazine also features these adorable and quaint holiday ornaments to make!

And...these little guys! Oh, I could definetly have a few of these on my holiday tree!

An article regarding MaryJaneButter's new store. Opening in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho sometime in 2009.

And ...here is a peak!

And.... another!
Doesn't it look simply devine?

Finally, an advertisement on a limited edition MaryJanesFarm Teardrop Trailer! Isn't it just the cutiest little thing? I'm was glad to see this ....since we have

........THIS!
(THIS IS OUR LITTLE TEAR DROP TRAILER, ALONG WITH THE EVER SO HANDSOME PT CRUISER.) THIS OUTFIT TURNS A LOT OF HEADS WHEN IT'S ON THE OPEN HIGHWAY!

I have a friend who has a silver trailer a little smaller than yours and he pulls it behind his silver Volkswagen bug. he gets a lot of attention from it as well!

I'm a Mary Jane farm girl fan too! Her magazine was so hard to find here in Canada that I treated myself to a subscription. I'd love to travel to Idaho too & that Farm Girl Fair sounds like lots of fun :-)
