With hot summer days comes an array of outdoor activities!

Helping in the garden!

Making sure the garden soil is just right!

Are those pototatoes ready for picking?

Grandpa ...can we pick a few carrots?

Relaxing a bit in the shade!

A bit of reading and a glass of cold ice tea!
(My FAVORITE activity!)

So, tell me what is your favorite summer time activity?

P.S. I QUILT is having a great giveaway! Hurry on over ends August 1st!

Kids just seem to love gardens, and it seems to improve their chances of eating their vegetables:>) Thanks for the heads uyp on the give-away, did you see how many entries she had? Yikes, not much chance of winning that one!

I love your little helpers!

By the way, I always respond to comments left on my blog that have an email attached to the blogger account so that I can. Know what I mean? Yours doesn't and that is why I don't ever respond back. Just today you commented about how the quilt along helped get you back to sewing . . . I am sooo glad! :)

What wonderful summer days you are having! I love working in the garden....veggie or flower. I love playing tennis and golfing in the summer. My favorite thing is going to the farmers market...picking up some fresh veggies, grilling them and dining al fresco.
