When you find that life is
whirling around you, and you
don't quite know which way to turn
...this is what you do!
You first find a comfy place to relax ....
Then you pour yourself a nice cuppa tea....
and then .....
You KNIT!
Darling Daughter picked this out on one of her visits.
This is what I'm working on while taking a break from the world!
This pattern calls for Noro 'Silk Garden' sock yarn.
I'm using color #S84.
There is a wonderful selection of Noro Yarn here
From this new Noro yarn pattern book. The patterns are absolutely adorable. Darling Daughter also picked out a few more items she wanted from this book. The next one I'll be working on is....
....this adorable jacket. It's made with a new Noro Yarn called "Taiyo". A cotton blend version of Silk Garden that's also self-striping like Kureyon.
I'm hoping that a few hours of quiet time will slow the world down for me just a bit ...and make me feel a whole lot better!

Oh, to be your only daughter - what a birthright! Love the sweaters!
Happy Easter, Alice!
Love to knit, it is so relaxing.
Lucky daughter to be able to order custom knits:>) Cute stuff, and the cream mug is pretty. I have just begun doing some simple crochet projects, it really is relaxing.
