Little Peeks...

Little peeks into some of the things I've been doing....

My daughter was visiting over Thanksgiving week. It was wonderful to have her home for nine wonderful days. We spent the time laughing, shopping, decorating for the holidays and more laughing. She came to visit for some much needed R&R and I think she was well accommodated! I love when she visits and I miss her when she returns to California. (That's 'Harley' sitting on her lap. 'Harley' is my daughter's little dog, but Grandma and Grandpa are his caretakers. He is such a cutie pie!)

This is a peek into what I'm busy putting together for my swap partner for the 'Deck the Halls' swap. It's just a peek, can you tell what I'm doing? I'll show you the finished product once I get it off in the mail and I'm confident it's been received. I don't want to spoil the surprise for my partner.

Last, but not least...the holiday decorations are up and being enjoyed! This is just a peek, I'll be posting more over the next week or so. I took lots and lots of pictures of our house, I thought I'd just post a few at a time to keep you all interested! I had lots of fun this year decorating for the holidays. Not only was my daughter home to help, but I tried to go all out using lots of glitter and glitz! I hope that you will return soon, I will start posting my holiday pictures no later than December 1st. See you then!

Pretty things, and pretty daughter! I love when my daughter comes home. Luckily she is only a half hour away in college so I do get to see her fairly often for short visits. But it is never the same until she comes to spend a week or summer at home. Gosh, I miss her. Getting all choked up just thinking about it. How great that you had so much time together, and even better, that you laughed and had so much fun!

I'm glad to hear you had such a great time with your lovely daughter. It sounds like you two have a close relationship, with all that laughter and fun. And she is such a treasure indeed. Speaking of treasures..bring on that sparkle and glitter!!
